Freyja is Fernie's fresh new clothing boutique. The concept is "west coast chic" meets "rustic Rocky Mountains" with a lil hip hop flavour. Reflecting the casual cool lifestyle of the town in a "look" and creating a truly unique shopping experience for locals and visitors, Freyja offers classic and trendy looks with a price range for everyone. "Fashion is fun and it makes people feel good and if I can provide that to my customers, then I feel like I have the best job in the world in the best city in the world", says owner and concept designer Chantel Souliere. "People want fashion and function and pieces that compliment their personal style, that's what we are all about down here".

Naked Earth Pottery is a working studio and gallery that sells individually-crafted stoneware. Customers can find a selection of mugs and bowls, platters and sushi plates for their own kitchen or a gift for another's.

In our home-based studio, we produce a wide variety of cushions and pillows using all-cotton textiles and natural fills such as buckwheat hulls, millet hulls, and kapok fibre. Our traditional meditation cushions, mats and bolsters are equally appropriate for casual living spaces. Our buckwheat hull sleep pillows and array of small supports and whole-grain warmers encourage healthy and comfortable living. We make all sizes of buckwheat hull beds for cats and dogs. We also accept custom orders such as made-to-size cradle/crib mattresses and RV or boat cushions.
