This living, outdoor museum brings to life the trials and tribulations of traditional farming. See an original Doukhobor barn, made by its namesake, a group who practises a dissenting form of Christianity who originated in Russia. An antique school and several pieces of farm equipment are also preserved here.

Built by Timothy Lebel in 1905, this landmark mansion-on-the-hill overlooking downtown Pincher Creek has a history as a private home, hospital and arts centre. Adopted by the Allied Arts Council, this Provincial Historic site is now the centre of the local artistic community. The public is welcome to tour the building and art gallery.

The Remington Carriage Museum houses the largest collection of horse-drawn vehicles in North America, with over 240 carriages, wagons and sleighs. It is open year-round, seven days a week. International travellers acknowledge the display as the finest in the world. The 63,000 square foot facility features video displays, a fire hall, a carriage factory, a restoration shop, a working stable, carriage rides, carriage rentals, a restaurant and a gift shop. Guided facility tours are offered at no additional charge.

Located a short drive from the Town of Pincher Creek, the Three Rivers Rock & Fossil Museum is a private collection of more than 3,000 specimens. Items on display include fossils, petrified wood, rare rocks from around the world, shells and artifacts from the sea, jewellery and more. Call ahead for an appointemnt.
